This is how the 25mm SLR magic APO lens flares when shot wide open. Gorgeous unique flares. I shot this on my Ursa mini Pro G2 @120fps. Tokina IRND and 1/4 Hollywood Blackmagic diffusion (the spots/dots you see sometimes in the bokeh and otherwise are from the diffusion filter).

These flares remind me of Blackwing 7 Lenses (7tribe) and is unique only to the 25mm. This circular rainbow flare disappears when stopped down slightly.

Very pretty, especially around the subject (plant/greens).

Is the camera on your shoulder or are you just holding it with your hands?

[Of course 120fps makes images more smooth by default, but just wondering what you were doing for this one.]

Thanks man. I was using my Easyrig vario 5 and the camera is a bit higher than my waist . My rig weighs 24lbs all in and I keep it built... so kinda hefty. For smaller builds and gimbal stuff I use the pocket 4k so no real need to break it down.

How do you feel about how the 25mm flares in comparison to the other focal lengths?

I wished the others flared like this. None of them do. They do have a nice flare when shot wide open but nothing like how unique this is.
