Compared the 2 latest cameras from BMD. I gotta say despite the g2' quality control issue. Its a darn great camera.
my 0.2 cents in 12 mins.

Thanks for the review. By the way, you could travel with the G2 and get this V-Mount NP-F battery adapter and bring 10 NP-F batteries when you travel. I think someone did a video of it or using it on the G2.

In this test the rolling shutter on the pocket look s the same at the g2. If the g2 is so much faster why isn't it more visible there?
I thought it was very visible, the G2 looks borderline global.
rolling shutter on G2 looks waaay better
Yeh I must have been tired when I watched that because watching it again I see the rolling shutter difference clearly.
Yes, this is how I felt going from the original Pocket/Micro Cinema to the Ursa Broadcast camera with Sensor readout Times that are below 9ms, almost looked like a GS.
Here is a comparison of the Original Ursa Mini and the new G2:
Blackmagic Camera RS Sensor Readout Times
Ursa Mini Pro G2
4.6k - 7.59ms
4K crop - 6.32ms
2k crop - 3.16ms
URSA Mini 4.6k:
4.6k – 15.17ms
4k/2160p – 12.64ms
2k/1080p – 6.32ms
Cheers
