    It is still necessary. I've just tested it out with an ARRI Tungsten and a Schneider 0.9 ND. Black fabric turns slightly magenta.

    Sorry to hi-jack, but if anyone thinks the BMCC 2.5 footage looks so much better than BMPCC4K and doesn't have one... well, look thru' the forum ... hint hint ... I'm throwing in a Bescor BM-EPIC battery as well!

    Thanks, that's good to know. I haven't had occasion to use an ND yet.
