    A. Sexy as hell.
    B. The smartest design I've seen so far. Why cover that nice big hand-grip?
For me it would be in case I drop the camera, it would have some sort of protection. I'm still debating on which way to go.

The 8sinn cage is pretty robust and provides structural protection at nearly all potential impact points (whereas the smallrig leaves several bare corners), and to me that's the point of a full cage. Plus it plays well with my smallrig top handle and rail system, so the kit is pretty much all set. Just waiting on the camera. :-)
I just wish it followed the contour of the body. So much space between the function buttons and the top of the cage.

I do not plan on bouncing the camera down the stree, so do not need a full cage!
We never plan on it...but sometimes it just happens...

One of the reasons I got the 1/2 cage version.

Also ordered the half cage with Scorpio handle and T5 cold shoe holder. Says 4-5 days delivery, is that true? How fast did you get your shipment?

Depending on when you ordered, there may be a delay in your shipment due to a shortage of the T5 holder. I had emailed 8sinn support to ask that they separate my shipment in order to get my cage in time for an upcoming shoot. The T5 holder will be on the way next week for me, which is still great. YMMV.

I ordered it on Sunday and it arrived today. So four days. Very responsive, nice design, in time for some rough terrain Sat.

Said that everything was in stock so assume they have it. I would love to get it before next Friday. We’ll see!

0:25 mark, what is used between the Ronin S and Pocket 4K? Looks like there was no extension plate used.
