I thought I was getting too old for this "making a film in a hurry" kind of thing. I kind of like having the time to plan my shooting, know the locations I will be shooting, lighting, blocking the actors, etc. But a few friends challenged me to enter one of these 48h film competitions and I have to say it was a brutal experience. It goes against everything we are used to and expect when doing a professional kind of shooting, but it's still a challenge to our resourcefulness. Of course, the final result is a lot different than if I'd had the time to properly prepare, but that's kind of the point...
