Just bolt it all to the camera. No need for cage or rails.

About the battery one: Oh great! The battery door is removable. I was worried it was not removable like the Pocket. This means third parties could probably make a battery door with a cable hatch, allowing us to use dummy batteries properly.

I also like the SSD adapter, though ideally you'd want one that's designed with multiple SSD sizes, like the water resistant G-Drive Apple is selling. I'd also want some kind of shoe on it, so you can mount your mic on it. And in black of course.

Oh no... we are out here in numbers.
For me the Pocket4k is just a "brain' update that will slip into my rigs exactly where the BMPCC and BMCC are. No changes at all.
Upgrading my shooting to 4K is going to cost exactly $1,295.

I’m probably not getting a cage, but I might get a focus monitor, for better viewing angles. Definitely gonna duck tape an SSD to the tripod handle till a better accessory comes out. And will charge the camera with an external battery cradle.
