It's not clear on the Blackmagic website if these new updates can be used on older cameras such as the original BMCC. I know Blackmagic is not adding new features for the old cameras, but I'd like to install a newer version of the software on my PC since it appears Blackmagic has reduced the number of programs the installer puts on a PC.

Is there any issue with using the latest installer with a BMCC?

No. This is just for the URSA cameras.

The Original BMCC and the Pocket have hit their final updates already.

Cool, I was wondering if they were going to add support for the 4K, was worried that it was going to be abandoned.

Also, for older cameras it will install whatever the latest firmware is for that model.

I'm pretty excited for the monitor latency fix. It hasn't been a huge issue, but enough that it's noticeable. Can't wait to load this tonight

The Ursa Mini 4K, not the Ursa Major. The previous firmware update added support for the UM4.6K.
