Crappy image attached but you'll see what I'm talking about, the blurry right.

Can this be repaired or should I go hunting for another copy?

I've have four (3 x Tokina, 1 x Angeniuex) variants of the lens, and none showed that characteristic. Looks like one of more elements have misaligned.

A little holiday spec shot on this lens. I am beginning to use this as my A lens when not renting. I love the look.

After ignoring this thread for so many years, I finally went and bought one to see what all the fuss is about; All these samples make a great case! I suppose I may post samples too, once I get it in my hands.

    Great work!

The shot at 1:55 is awesome. Some Scifi-Blade-Runner-Vibe is going on there, the only thing missing is the rain and some commercials on the walls.
Btw. How much of the hallway at 1:50 was real, if anything?

    Thanks for your warm words
Only the guy and the window are real, the rest is pure Aftereffects.

It's from a music video I shot, and actually there was rain and neon advertising in the counter shot :-)

    Great stuff.
I was expecting something like this.
Still, it works and looks great in this shot!

I have one for sale if anyone is interested.

Nikon mount, 2.6-2.8, 77mm filter. Optics are like new, only downside is the zoom. Zoom is a bit stiff, and isn't really smooth. Comes with the original box. Asking 150,- EUR + shipping
