    I am looking for suggestions for BlackMagic Micro Cinema Cage Set up with ability to mount monitor

    I saw the following which seems like the best set up. Anyone know what this is and any other suggestions

    I bought that rig. Gets here Monday. Instead of the wood handle I'm using nato cheese handle, and a swivel evf mount both from smallrig. Your pic is only a render from eohsd

    also does anyone know if the micro studio 4k shoots in flat like other blackmagic cameras. I read somewhere I think last year that it doesn't as oppose to the micro cinema does

    any thoughts?

    It does not have a log profile. The contrast can be adjusted but only from an atem, which makes me wonder if the changes are happening in the head or just the signal.

    so in order to have a log profile, u have to have a ATEM. if so which one?

    It's not a log profile, just lower contrast. Whether or not that will yield additional dr is unknown. I'm not going to buy an atem to test it. The studio is much more interesting with the release of the 4K video assist.

    The Came-TV Micro cage has a 15mm rod hole in the handle, allowing easy setup for a monitor or EVF. We're using these cages for our Micro's and we like them a lot so far.
