    Hi All,

I'm looking for suggestions for keeping my ssd media safe. I've seen the RED cases on red.com and also the ViewFactor cases-- will they work for a standard 2.5 SSD? Or, better yet, something that's not outrageously expensive? I currently only have 2 SSD's stockpiled (I gave up looking for bargains on SSD's until the damn camera ships!). I am envisioning a foam padded envelope, maybe, like the Tiffen 4X4 comes in. A padded wallet I could throw in with other on set items would be great.

    thanks all

There are many options of all prices and protection levels. If you are not going to be in the Amazon something like this should do nicely.

How about Cargo Hold from ViewFactor.

I use the Green ones for empty media and Red for SSDs with footage.

There is a decent one we use for the 256 REDMAGS.
It can hold as many as 5 and costs under 15 USD.
Now if I can only remember the name :P
