    Both use about the same rates- best mode for 4:2:2 targets 5:1 compression ratio. There is some data rate differences depending on actual frame rate eg.-about 175Mbit for 24p, but 220Mbit for 29.97. There is not much difference between them, except ProRes being bit better quality.

    Note that once I get mine I'll be trying out the 12-bit raw into 12-bit film log ProRes 4444 (no alpha channel obviously) from Resolve then direct cutting and grading in FCPX.

    I'll post my findings (assuming it can be done the way I think it can).
