Sweet! they really needed a wide for the m43 lineup. It will probably will be in the $1500usd range
10.5mm is an interesting choice for a focal length

Voitllander makes its MFT lenses to match standard full frame lenses divided by 2, so the 10.5 equals 21, 17.5 is 35, 42.5 is 85 etc. Although these are good choices for super16 as well. If only I had the cash.

If it's not crazy expensive, this will probably be a must-have.

At least on the Pocket, the Sigma 18-35mm/1.8 in combination with BMPC Pocket Speed Booster is just as wide and fast (but of course bulkier). It remains to be seen which one is the optically better solution.

Plus SLR Magics new 10mm seems to be their best lens yet, besides the 50 of course and I'm sure it's at least half the price with built in lens gears. .95 doesn't mean much when it's a blurry mess IMO and I own their 17.5.

Looks like a fantastic lens. I predicted Voigtlander would release a wide prime to compliment their existing trio of m4/3rd lenses, but had just assumed it would be an f1.4 or f2. Fingers crossed for a Voigtlander 12/0.95 or 67.5/0.95 next year!
