Does it cover a full frame sensor?
The film made Gotham the villain, which is why it's brilliant and why there is tremendous buzz about it. My review.
Since when is $1999 the same as $799?
The reason I would get a cage is for cable locks to protect the camera ports. There's nothing about this on that page.
That was tense. Someone should do it as a short. Happy ending.
Thanks for the fix.
Pretty good. It was missing the moment they first met, pretty big opportunity. Plus more character development to make them unique rather than generic.
That was one of the best ones I've seen on the site.
"The oly 12-100mm should hold aperture through the zoom right?"
Not sure, but I heard it won't hold focus. Check the Brawley thread on BMC forums. Could be this one.
Hey, let us know where we can see it. Looks like a movie.
I just want to put this out there that after searching for options I like the Olympus 17mm, which has a 1.2 and a 1.8 version. The 12-40 looked like a possibility too. They look like cinema quality...
That riser you have under the camera isn't stable enough. Needs to be wider footprint to keep it locked down.
Is there any real world evidence to prove this one way or the other?
Zombie gymnasts racing cars against horses what!!!
Can anyone explain what I'm looking at here? I don't get it.
Everything looks smooth in slow motion. If you're going to test it, shoot a normal scene.
I posted this on the Blackmagic forum:
I have a FEATURE REQUEST:
Programmable focus points. The camera can lock focus with the touch screen, but it doesn't REMEMBER the distance, and instead...
So beautiful women aren't allowed to have skin pores. Got it.
...Film boys...
So, is it possible to pull focus through an app?
If there were any doubts about how filmic the camera could be, those are gone.
Ah. So it bypasses the lens electronics entirely.

Has anyone used this?
My biggest concern is how to pull focus on a gimbal, following an actor around. I haven't seen anything concrete on this most basic function of a camera. Can you adjust focus of electronic lenses...
Hell with Velcro. It should screw down.
Can I shoot my vampire feature on it?
Yeah.
(Fuck yeah.)
Done.
Sounds like you expected to be in control of the image, and these conversations should have transpired in pre-production.
Since the film is already filming, for consistency's sake, the best thnig...
John B., here's where I'm at. The BMC's need IR reduction with ND. The Hoya ND's (Pro sereis) don't claim to reduce IR, but it looks like they actually do. Is this a good solution?
Also, I'm...
