UM4.6k when shooting in cDNG can be selected to use Gen 4 colour science in Resolve.
Hi Sage, if you do make a UMP version would this still work with the original UM4.6k using cDNG?

If BMD readily drops firmware enhancement support for their cameras that are even just slightly old and not as current as their latest offering, am I surprise big budget movies and major studios...
Atomos has a deal going. Come one BMD:mad:
Within reason of course but BRaw, I mean come on. BMD is more interested in getting 3rd party cameras to shoot BRaw on their new Video Assist than getting UM4.6k to do the same.
RED would most likely find some way for older cameras to bring it up to spec. The original Ursa Mini 4.6K would have had Braw long ago if RED was in BMD's shoes. For me that is one of the differences...
The sensor is slightly larger than S35 27.03mm x 14.25mm. Its non-proprietary media comming in at $5k-6k
Any so far?
My Canon EF 35mm f2 IS and EF 40mm f2.8 pancake lenses has smooth electronic iris. What other Canon lenses has smooth iris?
Slighty off topic. Has anyone experience battery life has become shorter since firmware 6.6? Also battery life is now similar regardless if lens image stabalizer is on or off?

I have mainly use my BMPPC4k for handheld work. With Metabones SB 0.64XL Canon lenses with IS has become a must because without stabilisation handheld work is terrible unless I go super slow mo or...
Whats the point Rawlover, he has blocked you.
You can roll back to the previous FW and confirm it is not the OS?
A broken battery detection switch does not stop the camera from showing the battery percentage if the battery is capable of doing so such as Canon OEM battery. If it no longer show the percentage and...
I thought the new Video Assist 12G was comming out in September or October?
Also the ATEM Mini. Is there going to be a redesign which might be the cause of delay? I think leaving out SDI was a bad...
If you want autofocus then you have not researched your camera choice. You only got yourself to blame on that one.
What international crew? What Sony gear?
Well JB, at least on this occasion he has quoted your entire post instead of just a portion of it and then twisted it out of context which he normally do to others.
Is this about Catherine the Great but not the one with Helen Mirren?
If the red charge light comes on when using the AC power adapter with a not fully charge battery you know the battery detect lever has not broken off.
The percentage display for battery is not...
We do know FW 6.6 allows the camera to support the new BMD battery grip.
